Officers, records managers and compliance officers in private sector
organisations and public sector agencies. The workshops provide

On-site privacy training
PLCA delivers on-site privacy training workshops for organisations and
agencies preferring to deliver training in-house. PLCA delivers two types
of workshops: a full-day intensive course and a two-hour “Privacy Basics”
course.
Privacy Act reforms
In June 2010, the Government released exposure draft legislation
setting out proposed Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) to replace both
the private sector National Privacy Principles (NPPs) and the public
sector Information Privacy Principles (IPPs). Throughout July 2010, PLCA
presented at seminars providing an overview of the proposed changes. The
seminar materials provide detailed analyses regarding
the scope and impact of new obligations under the APPs. The materials are
